Message: Power of Pride Vs. Power of Humility

Entry: Easter Sunday 2012

Lord, you took from the Garden of Eden the original sin of pride and turned it upside down and inside out through your cross and resurrection.  By the cross you showed us that the power of pride does not work. You modeled a new power by becoming the least, broken, suffering, poor and ultimately, the humble.  You showed us that the power of humility is the opposite of the power of pride.  You single-handedly redeemed all of humankind from its original sin of haughtiness and arrogance that separated us from God and from each other. Until you modeled a new way, we were enemies of one another and of God.

Lord, therefore God has highly exalted you and bestowed upon you the name that is above every other name.  By the resurrection you defined a different kind of power. One that is not based on manipulation, deceit and authoritative control of others.  No, you showed that although you are all-powerful, your muscle does not come from a place of pride but is born out of humility and brokenness.

Lord, thank you for speaking to us this Easter message.

How could anyone not know of these events having led us up to the soon second coming of Christ?

Message: How could anyone not know of these events having led us up to the soon second coming of Christ?

Lord, its 2:00am and you have granted a vision of members of the Church discussing the recent past, present and future.  I see Protestants and Catholics in a large hall reminiscing recent events in history.  One person reminds the group of 100s of 1,000s of deaths in WWI and WWII.  Another recounts the millions killed in the holocaust.  Other individuals discuss the founding of Israel as a State in 1948. Others remind everyone of the world-wide impact and millions of deaths caused by of Covid19. Others warned of what is to come. Lastly, like on the Road to Emmaus, another asks, “How could anyone not know of  these events having led us up to the soon Second Coming of Christ?”

Talking to Mary

Message: Talking to Mary

Lord, in a nighttime vision, men and women’s voices could be heard praying. All are from various Protestant Christian faiths.  However, quite suddenly, sincere and comfortably they began giving thanks to the Blessed Mother.  Hearing their prayers to the Blessed Mother seemed a bit unusual because since the Reformation, Martin Luther (photo) and other Protestant leaders removed Mary from Christian dialog. However, in today's vision, 500 years later, they are thanking Mary for being their mother. Blessing Mary for all she has done with her son to to save the world. Something has changed their minds, but what?

In my thoughts, the vision is tied to the forthcoming miracle in the Pines at Garabandal, Spain. Here Catholics, Protestants and the entire world will see a sign that was prophesied by the Blessed Mother to four children in the early to mid 1960s. The sign can be photographed and will remain for many days.

Message:  Who Do You Stand with, the Broken or Perfect People?

Lord, in a vision last night you said to me, "You have the choice of standing with an adulterer/drug user or with the religious-perfect who are gossiping about her."   Next, after the sinner takes a great fall, the religious planned to confront her when she walked into the house to recover.  However, Lord, you requested that I do not stand with the accusers.  Instead, I stood separate from them in support of the sinner.

The  Woman Caught in Adultery

Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them. As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They put her in front of the crowd.

“Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?”

They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust.

When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. 10 Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”

“No, Lord,” she said.

And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”  John 81-11
