Though Christ was crucified through weakness, it was voluntary weakness; he submitted to death. What about the rest of us mortals, regarding “the sword?” Jesus warns us that a person of violence, aggression and taking vengeance into one's own hand always has a bad ending. Bullies are always confronted with evil, aggression, vengeance and a violent death.
