WHY IS THERE SUFFERING? DISEASE? WHY DO PEOPLE DIE? Why do people acquire ailments, suffer and die? Certainly, an age-old question. Firstly, the "Original Sin"of pride was committed by our ancestors. Adam and Eve wanted to become "Like God." They were deceived. A curse came upon the entire earth. Death permits God to cleanse the earth so that no one person's evil deeds permanently dominate others. All must die. At the time of the Resurrection from the dead and the Rapture of we who are alive, the Church; our newly glorified bodies revert back to our youth, approximately thirty-years old. About the same age as Jesus when he suffered, was crucified and rose from the dead. Hope this helps!
