MANY MODERN PHYSICISTS AND COSMOLOGISTS FROM OXFORD, CAMBRIDGE, YALE AND UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO NOW BELIEVE THE "BIG BANG" NEEDS A SUPERNATURAL "FIRST CAUSE:" "Primary Cause" or "First Cause" in science and philosophy has been discussed for thousands of years. God is the self-eternal being to which every chain of causes must ultimately go back. The term was used by Aristotle, Augustine, Thomas Aquinas and many other Greek, Roman and Judeo-Christian scientists and philosophers. "First Cause" has gained increased popularity among present-day cosmologists and physicists who reject the idea that the "Big Bang" theory completely accounts for the "First Cause."
